Kerkville (Michalis Moschoutis)
    Composer/guitarist Michalis Moschoutis (b. 1979) studied classical guitar at the Guildhall School of Music in London and at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. He has taken part in many festivals in Europe and is performing extensively throughout Greece. His collaborators include composers (Nikos Tatsis, Chikage Imai, George Katsanos, Stavros Sofianopoulos ao), bands (Apodrasi, Babas au Rhum, Imam Baildi ao), singers and songwriters (Lolek, Elly Paspala, Loudovikos ton Anogeion, Leonidas Maridakis ao) and choreographer Kostantinos Rigos, while he is also composing music for short films, TV ads and is working as a guitar teacher. Under the guise of Kerkville he is producing music based mainly on the guitar. He is continuously working on expanding the expressive capabilities of his main instrument: classical, acoustic, electric, lap steel, pedal steel and prepared guitars and is experimenting on recording techniques and sound processing, aiming at creating "a distinct world of textures and harmonies".
